Come along to this relaxed ceramics class to create and connect with fellow members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Let your queer heart flow freely, embracing the fluidity of the clay, plunge your hands into forming a fabulous unique creation.
Queeramics is a casual class in hand-building basics designed to encourage creativity and facilitate community connection.
Covering introductory hand-building techniques - pinching, coiling, joining, texturing.
Focused on creating beautifully imperfect forms - including vases, bowels, pots for plants, or whatever you desire!
Alongside making with our hands, this session gently explores how creativity, including working with clay, can support our wellbeing.
Perfect for those who are trying out ceramics for the first time, while also offering support and guidance for makers with some experience.
While this class is designed for those who are part of the queer/LGBTQIA+ community, allies are welcome. Please be mindful that this is a loving inclusive space.
The cost of this class covers all firing costs
