Alix Wilson

Alix Wilson (she/her) is the maker behind London Clay.  Originally from London, UK, she’s now living and making in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa.

Alix creates one-off / limited-run colourful ceramic jewellery and functional ware. Working predominantly in porcelain, she enjoys experimenting with clay body stains and surface decoration techniques – particularly slip trailing, inlay and carving. 

Her work is typically slab-built or slip cast, with occasional nerikomi elements.
